Carter’s Mill had too few sales in order to draw any valid statistical conclusions. Overall there was a rise in value from 2024 sales. When we looked at the broader picture in the 20169 zip code, all of the communities we analyze in that zip code had a rise in value over that last 12 months.
There were nine attached and eight detached sales in Carter’s Mill in 2025. The rise in value over 2024 was 4.5% rise in detached homes to median price of $795,000. There was a 6% rise in attached homes to a median price of $674,000. This percentage increase was similar to the increase in Dominion Valley and Piedmont. Both of those neighborhoods had enough sales to be statistically valid.
Based upon the broader picture, the rise in value in Carter’s Mill is similar to these two larger neighborhoods with more sales. We can conclude, therefore, that the rise in value is probably accurate in Carter’s Mill also. Below is the spreadsheet showing all the sales for 2025 in Carter’s Mill.
