Cathy’s Home Team has compiled the annual sales stats for 2019 for Piedmont located in Haymarket, VA. 100 units sold in Piedmont and performed nearly identically to the 99 sold in 2018 and 101 sold in 2017. Median sales price for detached homes descreased by 2% last year in contrast with the 5% increase in 2018 and 8.9% increase in 2017, so still an overall gain of 11.9% over 3 years! However, the attached homes experienced a 7.7% increase in 2019 compared to a decrease in 2018 of almost 2%. Median days on market continued to be very low. Distressed sales continued to drop and was only 1% in 2019. Inventory is again relatively low.
